Pressure analysis

Where should pressure be applied? Which underlying causes of your campaign problem are most susceptible to change? For any one cause there may be multiple driving and restraining forces. The analysis seeks to identify points which are inherently sensitive, vulnerable or susceptible to pressure.

Cause a is difficult to influence, It is held "in place" by two powerful equal and opposite forces. Cause b is easier to influence, being held by two weak forces neither of which fully "connect" to the cause. By adding a new force cause b can be moved, transformed, eliminated.
